The Field Theory Series explores visual clues to the perception of space on the image plane such as varying focus areas imitating the brain’s limited depth of field. This leads to the perception of varying spacial relationships. Fields of color take on the feeling of volume becoming form and affect the perception of space. Figure-ground relationships complete the gestalt.
